CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The following forms of public recognition serve as a way of honoring volunteers who contribute to IPC programs and development of standards. Let's make sure they're recognized and rewarded at our upcoming 2003 conferences/trade shows.

Acknowledge quality work by nominating deserving individuals for IPC President's, Distinguished Committee Service and Special Recognition awards. Recipients will be honored at either IPC Printed Circuits Expo (Long Beach, CA: March 25-27) or APEX (Anaheim, CA: March 31 - April 2).

The President's Award is given to members who have exhibited ongoing leadership in IPC and have made significant contributions to the association and the electronic interconnect industry. Individuals can receive this award only once.

The Distinguished Committee Service awards are presented to IPC committee members who have made an exceptional contribution to a specific standard or other IPC program. Any person who is actively involved on an IPC committee is eligible, except members of the board of directors. This award can be given more than once.

The Special Recognition award is given to members who have made exceptional contributions to an IPC program or to the industry. The activity can be short-term or a one-time event. This award can be received more than once.

Nominations must include the name and company of the candidate and a statement describing how the nominee meets award criteria, what the contribution was or why the member deserves recognition. All nominations are confidential.

Submit nominations to Megan Maynard, IPC Marketing Department, by February 1, 2003. Contact Maynard for additional information at [log in to unmask] or call 847-790-5319.
