Dear Technetters:

We are in the process of phasing lead-free components into our stock.
In some cases, the lead-free component has the same appearance as
the leaded component, or, there might be one character difference in the
part number or even no difference.

Can anyone enlighten me to how they are dealing with purging leaded parts
for lead-free parts.  What do you think of the natural purging process where
eventually all leaded parts will be replaced with lead-free parts keeping the
same internal part number for both versions.
