There is no such thing as a "Thermal Shock formula." or a standard for
Thermal Shock. Thermal shock testing has only very limited value in
reliability testing, since the loading conditions and root causes are so
dramatically different from product in use.
You should refer to IPC-9701 for the test details of a proper reliability
standard.
