Hi Franklin,
Ionic contamination has nothing with type of oxide preparation, only with
the quality of rinses.
From my own experience , we had in the past two types of oxides ( brown and
reduced black) and now we are running one of replacements - all types of
oxides passed ionic contamition tests nicely.
