Franklin,
Here are some considerations:

                                 7629 single-ply 2113 two-ply

cost lower higher

dimensional stability better worse

dielectric constant higher lower

drilling quality better

resin fill adjacent layers better

thickness after lamination 7.5 mils <7.0 mils (2313 = 7.0)

availability fair (7628 good) poor (2313 good)

dielectric thickness consistency better

Some of this info is in IPC-4121.
So figure out which criteria are more important, and then try to choose the best option.
If you've already got the 2113 and 7629, the availability is not an issue.
Note that there *not* going to come out with quite the same thickness.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Advantages of 2113 over 7629

I need some input on any advantages, or disadvantages of using a single
sheet of 7629 versus multiple sheets of 2113 in the same application(s).

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Franklin D Asbell
