Good afternoon,

This may be a little outside of circuit boards, but lets give it a try. We are using some 37° JIC 3/8" flare fittings. Several manufacturers refer to a desired torquing spec when tightening but I haven't found anything with actual numbers in it. SAE J1273, section 7.6 refers to "Assembly Torque" but again with no numbers. What I'm looking for may be in SAE J514, but I don't have a copy.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance.

Phil Nutting
