re. the VOI 1000 - we compared it to the ERSA and other tinker toys and
chose the metcal - liked it's ability to look under gaps as small at uBGA
..75 mm pitch as well as removal of the 90 degree mirror and do in-depth PTH
and other inspection - like the maintainability $. and replacement parts
costs.

the two that have caught our eye are the Metcal APR-5000 BGA/CSP rework
