I just tried using the PSLM for a typical pcb of ours - nothing fancy, but
Mil Spec. Lots of big holes, wide traces and spacing, anything over 7
layers but low volume/prototype and ENIG (or not ENIG). I didn't specify
any specific facilities, to leave the selection as open as possible and
also tried varying some of the parameters and leaving many out to see what
I got back.

I got nothing back for Mil. UL approved gave me one supplier. Varying some
more of the parameters, I either kept or lost this one supplier. Not very
useful as a supplier finder!

Susan:

Capability information is still available online at
http://www.ipc.org/html/fsresources.htm. Select the Product/Services
Locator Matrix (PSLM) for the search engine. Each company is responsible
for maintaining it's own data.

Subject: [TN] board shop capability

Greetings to All
I finally found what I was looking for - in the 1998 IPC membership
directory
there was a table that listed each of the member companies and the
capabilities for each company. It was a great idea that is no longer in
the
current membership directory.

Take a look at the 98 version, if you still have it. Maybe IPC could think
about re-instating the table - looks like a lot of work for someone to get
that much info in a timely manner.

Susan
