We are looking at using a Semtech Microbuddy and I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this part? My main concern is the part to pcb gap in regards to flux entrapment. The min stand off height is 0, nominal is .02mm and max is .05mm. We had wanted to use a no clean solder and flux but the customer is not interested in no clean flux residues. So, if you have used it please let me know what fluxes may have been used and also the method of cleaning. Also if you did use a cleanable flux what ionic testing results did you find.
Here is the pdf file for the part spec in case you are interested. http://semtech.com/pdf/sh3000.pdf
Thanks in advance
