A word of warning about "Galvanic Metal Charts"

They are almost useless in the real world, and actually only report on
oxidation values in pure water....and what else is present (the electrolyte)
makes ALL the difference.

Example....one metal will immersion plate on another when the metal in
solution is more electronegative than the substrate....i.e. metals below a
given metal should be able to plate on to metals above on the usual charts.

Yet, depending on the electrolyte, you can make Tin immersion plate on to
Copper, OR Copper immersion plate on to Tin...

So, their relative postions on the Galvanic metal chart are wholly dependent
on the electrolytes present...

Life is NEVER simple...
