I bought a few clamps that might just fit your description from a tool
catalog sometime back.

I would be happy to send you one by mail, if you want, then I can comb my
catalog pile, and try to find one of these catalogs, if you want more.

Alternately, I would recommend you looking up handyman cheap tool suppliers,
and look up for yourself.

The clamps I got were plastic, and made in China, and cost retail well under
a dollar each.
