I have had to strip acrylic ( too ) many times. It is easily done with IPA followed by aqueous cleaning. I do this through at least 2 cycles. It helps if the IPA is warm. I sometimes set my tub of IPA in a pan of hot water, brush the board. Aqueous and repeat. The results are good and don't take long.

Subject: [TN] Strip-able conformal coating experiences
Hello technet,
I'm looking for user experiences, pro and con, with strip-able conformal
coatings. I assume that means we'd be talking about an acrylic (type AR)
coating. I need a requirement for a removable conformal coat for one of
our products. We would spray apply this coating.
We presently use an urethane coating that has excellent chemical and
environmental resistance but unfortunately can't be readily stripped.
Thanks.
