Folks,
I use whatever CAM or CAD software available to pannelize. Most importantly,
however, I talk to the fab shop first primarily for cost concerns. Then, I
talk to the assembly capability and get assembly concerns. Then, I have us
all talk together and work out a concurrent agreement so the design, fab,
and assembly requirements are met. Then, I place graphics and notes, created
with CAD or CAM software, on appropriate master and assembly drawings.
Everyone has a piece of this pie. It cannot be driven just one way.
