PCB CAD Design Project Leader for indefinite contract in Sacramento, CA;

Job Description:

Responsible for performing Project leader functions and
designing printed circuit boards for Validation, test and other
interface hardware as required by internal customers. As a project
leader and as a PCB CAD designer he is expected to perform the project
management and technical duties. Project management duty includes
generating the Target Spec, preparing project schedules and meeting
with customers and Mechanical design group. Technical work includes the
responsibility for the interface hardware development and it‘s
functionality, conceptualizing and layout of all intricate portions of
a specific design. This includes designing boards, generating PCB
artwork, assembly instructions, parts list, pin list and photo plot
files for film work. Candidate is also expected to manage the project
through out its development stage with the Mechanical, Purchasing and
Simulation team players as well as Outside design resources and his
customers to ensure that all required data is available when developing
new interface hardware.

Requirements;

Proficient with Cadence with an understanding of simulation and
modeling is a plus.
Project management skills to keep projects on schedule with good
communications skills.
Prior experience in designing boards for device testers (i.e. S9k, HP,
IMS)
Proficient with Microsoft software suite, (Word, Excel, Outlook
Working with Mechanical Designers to integrate designs is a Plus.
