Hi All,
This reminds me of when I was knee high to a duck and my brother and I used
to melt lead and cast it into cardboard boxes. The boxes turned a bit brown
but we never set one alight.* Not that I am recommending this procedure.
Our current solder supplier gives us special cans into which we pour the
unwanted molten solder and they collect and recycle. Maybe Steve's supplier
can help.
If you want to re-use the solder, how about casting it into the wedge shaped
cavities of some house bricks? Make sure the bricks are dry!
Regards
Eric Dawson
*PS I cannot remember why we did this, probably because we could!
