Although it could be one of the reasons Ken stated, it could also be:

1. A bad lot, and you're the only one who got them

2. Mishandling (ESD) of your pieces during the time from manufacture to
delivery at your facility.

We use these, not in great volume (400 in last 4 months), and haven't seen
any problems.

Does it appear to be limited to a lot or date code?
