Moonman,
you should be very glad that your DNA is not patented by some Bio-medical
company.  I thought any document in public domain is free for referencing as
long as you acknowledge the source and not copy it in grand scale (like the
long list of references in someone's thesis).  I wish IPC will grant some of
the permission for use its std/spec as reference.   "for detail spec/std,
see IPC std xxx" shouldn't hurt IPC, but may be a free marketing schemes (if
you really want to get to the dollars and cents, how about Moonman pays x
cents for every CD sold and IPC put a survey says, "how do you hear about
us--- from Moonman's book?  Every spec/std solder under the "yes", MoonMan
get y% back...provide IPC got excess capacity on Managerment, it should work
out just fine.  It will promote employment in US for sure ;-)...any comment?
