thanks Rudy, i think it would be okay to plate 10 micro-inches as along as
i can plate 3-5 microns of Ni underneath (Is Ni-plating bath halide free
also?).
how about other processes such as pre-clean, etc, are there available
halide
free also?
You halides are enemy of semiconductor devices

There are non-halide immersion Tins, but they do not deposit thick (>30
microinch) deposits....you need the chloride to drive this engine.
The non-halide immersion Tins will put down say 10 microinches, on a good
day, at temperature.
