Hey, Earl, watch it! I own a Ford Explorer (OK, it 's the wifeys and I drive a
very economical 92 Toyota Corolla- which incidentally threw numbers 2 and 3
connecting rods in Caddo, OK, on Memorial Day, on my way to my new job here -
engine replaced to the tune of $1500.00). I also owned (in my pre-married,
younger days) an 89 mustang GT 5.0 Convertible with a 306 c.i. Bullet DSS short
block, ported/extrude-honed 351 Windsor heads, ported/extrude-honed stock lower
intake, ported upper, 30 lb. fuel injectors, 18 lb. Vortech supercharger, and
suspension necessities and it ran 10.20 at 131mph in the 1/4 at sea-level. Main
point is it had no catalytic converters (off-road H-pipe installed) and 1
chamber racing non-restrictive Flowmaster mufflers and it pased emission test
and averaged 19 mpg on highway. Faster and bigger is not ALWAYS non-efficient.
As a matter of fact, with the right engineering and correct thought patterns,
you can re-engineer the wheel (and make it roll better)!

Damn Jason, now you're making me all mushy, or is that my morning pablum
still digesting. Vapor phase still is the best.

Think of our brain cells as we work together in perfect soldering harmony
while we're carping about lead free. It is amazing, when there currently is
no demand for any electronic device anymore, that we promote all kind of
environmentally friendly crap. Hell, how much production is using any such
type. I'll bet, within the last two years there is no pollution left but for
SUV's

Oh, sorry! Hell, with demise of all our fine CEO and semi presidential
leaders (will any of them get jail time or end up like Milken - now a
benevalent consultant still with billions tucked away). Tennis anyone?

Not much worse than 100 mph SUV's and huge motor homes or whatever you call
those suckers - sucking up all our fuel reserves and effecting irrecoverable
pollution. I know of few using nitrogen anymore - kind of just quietly went
away. Must be those solder paste folks - Chris?

Damn, I do miss vapor phase but not SUV's. You know I'm kidding, right,

Earl
