hi,

zestron states specifically that vigon a200 is surfactant free, and that it is composed of long chain alcohols. environmentally friendly is another claim they make. no mention of saponifiers.

Brain,
I was shocked by this response. We have been using Vigon A200 here for a
couple of years.
The products HMIS rating is 0,0,0. We do not know of any special
protection or training that is required. The cleaning agent seems easy
and safe to use. The MSDS is pretty straight forward. We understand
that the solvent contains VOCs, but are unaware of any issues associated
with the waste streams. Granted, the contamination which can vary, but
our understanding that the material is easily biodegradable.
Additionally, Vigon A 200 was not presented to us as a saponifier but a
chemistry which allows reuse.

I would really appreciate knowing about the toxic character of the
material, and any precautions that we should be using.
