Hi Ingemar.

We used it as a backing film on which to dice up wafers into chips and
after that temperature it made the chips darn difficult to remove for IC assembly.

Depends what Joyce has in mind to use it for.

Cheers . . . Norm

Hi jk,
as it's a PVC it should survive, but will be very soft. We have used Mylar in transformers for decades (Mylar is old stuff). For high T we use Kapton instead.

If you need closer data I have friends who know a lot about Mylar.
Why not send DENKA a q?

Help, guys!
Does anyone know what is the blue mylar tape (Nitto tape spv 224) maximum
operating temperature? Can it survive for 125 C for extended time (few
hours)? I have difficulty to find the data sheet on line. Many thanks.
Best regards,
                                                  jk
