My friends,

I've been quite overwhelmed by the good wishes from members of this
forum since the problem and I thank you all. However, although I've
started recontributing on a limited scale, I'm still not 100% better.
I've recovered hand movement from 0% of normal to 95%, although it is
slow and has to be willed. Strength in it is about 60% of normal and
agility 40%. It is still improving, by small quantum leaps, and I hope
this will continue :-) Morale is good.
