In a former life we were trying to find the same answer.  To the best of my knowledge (memory) we never found a document that specified wiring colors except for AC Mains wiring (IEC 950, IEC 610?).  We ended up creating out own color code that became our factory standard.  I think it went something like the following;

12V dc = red
0 Vdc (DC return) = black
24 Vac (control signal voltage) = violet
24 Vac return = brown
DC signal = blue
