Hello there,
We are seeing some sheet metals with problems like corrosion, finger
print and some kind of weird brown spot on them. we have specified
Bright Zinc Plating on them. I am interested in sending this to any
local lab fro analysis.
(1) Name of any lab where I send them for analysis, preferably local in
San Jose Bay Area.
(2) Should I change the plating spec?
(3) What is passivation?

My vendor was suggesting Double Zinc Plating. Any help will be highly
appreciated.

Re,
Ken Patel
