What we will use a protective colour we get from Ersa. We use this colour because Ersa is one of our project sponsors, so we get the coating for free.
to be honest, I don't know the composition of the colour however trials at Ersa showed that it works well.
Another possibility is to change the solder handling parts with stainless steel that is anodically oxidised.
