Hi all,

I've been reading this latest thread regarding Metcal soldering irons with great interest.  I'd like to possible switch from our existing units to something better.  Several months ago my Pace rep told me about their new product that would kick Metcal's butt (haven't seen one yet, make note to self to call rep!) and about the same time I made a post looking for suggestions. Metcal was the winner, but today I'm seeing "the other side" (dare I say "dark side") of Metcal.

My money is still in the bank and I'll hold out till I've had a chance to check out the other bandwagons.
