Steve, thanks for your comments. This is the third discussion msg on 1720 I've received in last two days.

We just had a staff meeting about the 1710, 1720, and 1730 documents yesterday and your issues were addressed. Our decision is that we're going to rebuild all three of these documents into single MS Word template files. They were originally developed using early Windows versions of Word Perfect and Microsoft Word. Our current standard is MS Word and both capabilities of the application and our experience will enable us to improve user friendliness.

When we have the files rebuilt we'd be interested in having a couple of "users" look them over and offer constructive comments. If anyone can assist with this, please reply to me offline [log in to unmask] We appreciate your support.

Cordially
Jack

Hi all!

I just went through the tedious task of filling out our IPC-1720 AQP. One of
the things
that I found to be a pain, was the fact that some of the fields won't allow
you to put in enough characters to mean anything, and most all of the word
documents are locked templates so you can't modify anything to allow you to
type in what you need to.

One other gripe (whiIe I'm complaining) I have is that the whole document
isn't linked together into one multiple page word document, instead you have
to open and close each page one at a time to edit them or print them out...

Jack, has anybody else complained about this? Or am I just being a "whiner"?
