Technet,
Our company is experiencing a problem with bent leads from our
programming house. They program both PLCC and QFP components for us and
they randomly end up bending (coplanarity) leads on these components. We
tried to inspect for them in our receiving inspection department using
manual inspection, but its really difficult to see these minor bends.

My question is there any type of automated equipment that is designed
to inspect for this problem? Our placement machines can check gull wing
components, but can't inspect J leads.

Thanks,
-Larry Koens-
