Graham,
In looking through a couple catalogs, most of the "men's" heel straps should fit cowboy boots as the mechanics are the same for sneakers, work boots or cowboy boots, two straps around and under the heel with one strap over the arch. The only item I see as a problem is the length of the grounding tab strap that goes inside the shoe/boot. These catalogs list 30" long straps. I would think that these would reach. If not this guy must be very tall and have huge boots.
Hope this helps,
Phil Nutting

Subject: [TN] ESD heel straps
Good day TechNet!
A simple but important to me question for any southern Technetters: Is there such as thing as a strap-on ESD heel strap that will work with cowboy boots?
No, I am not kidding. Seriously. We have an operator who has back problems that "go away" if the boots are worn. Not going to argue the point, I just would like said operator properly gounded... then we can all be happy.
We use the standard strap on heel straps on our grounded floor, but they are obviously not designed for a high cut boot.
