I started this thing for exactly this purpose. There are/were lots of great,
honest, and dedicated people at Sanmina and all those they took over. Hell,
even Jure is a great guy. He just has, as always, a drive to make money. He
should, he is in business to do just that.

I knew Jure when he was a sales manager in the '80's. To become CEO of a
major corporation is an admirable feat and one to be respected. This,
however, is not my focus.

My focus is on Sanminazation and what it does to customers. Having taken
several, or more, customers there over the years has not reaped them or me
any benefits. My latest trip down this path has ended in two near disasters
- one at the late great Hadco tech center in Haverhill and the other in
Austin. The first nearly cost my client a contract and nearly cost mine at
the client. The second just saw us barely get by before they shut the place
down costing some good people their jobs and nearly costing my ass when,
upon completion, the Austin facility shut down without notice.

There are other instances where/when some of my clients placed faith in
Sanmina and saw late deliveries and poor quality. The did, as now, promise
anything for the order but delivered poorly. I simply see the old Sanmina in
all this despite how many good people try their damndest to do what is right.

It is not an argument about the good people. It is about poor business
practices that seem not to change and get lots of good people, customers and
workers alike, in trouble.
