feel like I have to chime in here, but that's a pretty broad brush being
used to paint the Sanmina crew...

I can't speak for the current state of affairs at SANM but I did qualify
and use several of their facilities before deactivating their
qualifications (we sold off several divisions and didn't need that much
capacity anymore).

However, I can speak to the personality and character of the Irvine Sanmina
crowd.  They were always different than the Bay Area Sanmina crowd.  I did
business for years  with Jim Ryan when he ran the other Sanmina Irvine
plant (old Diceon facility).  I've seen him under fire and in a pinch --
he's the real thing.  He's as earnest and honest as the day is long and he
attracts people of similar character (whoever's left including John
DeBrita, George Trinity et al).
