All;

I am looking for some help in selecting material for a PCB we are
designing to go into 85/85 (85°C / 85% humidity), aging (85°C dry bake), and
temp cycle (-40°C to 85°C) ovens. I know that there are dozens of options
out there for fabricating boards that will survive this, but I'm sure that
some of them are considered standard processes that can be obtained
inexpensively, and some of them more exotic. Could any of you offer some
guidance? One of my biggest concerns is the metallization in the
high-humidity environment. I think that copper could cause some serious
problems here... but under a mask and with SnPb on all the exposed areas,
maybe I'm wrong. Each of the boards must last a minimum of 1000 hours at
these conditions, although several thousands of hours is obviously
preferable, so that they can be reused.

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Bob Torres
