We do a FAI on all bare boards the first time received. Basically it
consists of comparing the board to an artwork master, checking print
dimensions (overall size and any cutouts), checking hole dimensions with pin
gages, and a copper thickness check. Your requirements may be more or less
detailed, material analysis, etc. As Don said, check with your customer.
