Hi Technet,
One of our contracts requires us to perform a First Article Inspection for every bare board that's manufactured for the first time. In my view a First Article Inspection can mean anything between a very limited visual inspection and an extensive audit of the boardvendor's manufacturing process.
Is there (perhaps in IPC or Mil-specs) a clear description of what the term First Article Inspection means, and what kind of product- or processinspections should be performed ?
