Hello,

Does anyone know of a guideline, standard or study on the maximum number of
missing unused BGA pads allowed.
The pads are removed during the rework operation.
One consideration is the effect on the retention of the BGA with less pads.
The BGAs has approx. 350 balls.

Any feedback is appreciated.
TIA
