Charles,

As always, you ge what you pay for. If you like to adjust via micrometers
and such without fid recognition or its software, then so be it. If you want
consistently high quality, with little operator intervention, then you need
a more sophisticated machine.

It all starts with a good design, but stencil printing is one of the most
important parts of the quality equation. I know it isn't easy making such
choices in today's economy, but more "automated" machines make life easier
even at three times the price your ROI will be recovered almost instantly
unless your boards are far simpler that most today.

Just a note you already know, DEK also standardizes on 2929 frames. There
are many of these machines available with good fid recognition capablilites
whether lower or higher resolution systems.
