Dave,

I have used Ti as a stirrer impellor in the manufacture of tin based
(Sn>90%) whitementals (babbits). At temperatures of around 500C, it
showed no erosion over a year or so, whereas stainless steel rapidly
wore away.

There is no numeric data for this and it was about 10 years ago but,
based on this, I guess Ti would do well, if expensively, as a
wavesoldering construction material.
