There are no prefered test probes for NC fluxes. Through experimentation,
you can determine proper probes for the characteristics of the flux you use.
When considering test requirements in your flux qualification process, you
can choose between fluxes with residues that are soft/brittle, slick/sticky,
etc.

Test machine operators:
. Think NC flux residues are a pain in the gluteus maximus.
. Change probes (from a collection of different tip types: crown,
straight point, diamond) to select (tailor) the correct probe for the probe
location.
. Dry scrub probe tips with a wire brush (like Techni-Tool 872M1034, but
with longer rows of bristles) when a fixture begins to act-up.
. Inspect the probe side surfaces for "black corrosion" [from the
flux???] that prevents good contact. The probe manufacturer recommends a
change-out schedule ... 50k hits or something like that.
