Steve,
IBM was the first to produce and deploy bare (exposed) copper into usage
amongst their products and customers/recipients of such. This is "old" news
and there are tons of quality data puhlished on bare copper reliability.
Most from IBM itself. One just need look. You'll get all the information
(bullets) you wll need to defend such.
