Yah, Bev raises a good point.  There might be a few out there who don't
recognize the ravings of an industry lunatic hyped up on caffeine for what
it truly is.

Soooooo, lets be clear, taking a material from -321F to 500F in an instant,
a thermal shock of 821F, is more than almost any polymeric material (or
most ceramics) could possibly handle, and so should NOT be done.

Unless of course you are looking for new and fun ways to destroy something,
or doing research in projectile motion, or have some LN2 you want to use
up........
