I can only tell you of my experience in a former job. I inherited a SMT line
that was out of control. Loss averaged 15 percent. But over a large range,
from over 50 percent to a low of about 5 percent. By the time we got the
line under control loss averaged between 3 and 5 percent. It might be
possible to do better. We worked with lot sizes similar to those you use.
