since I already hear the laying of the bricks of your cave. Did I also hear
"is there anybody out there?"? Some thousands of years ago, the supreme god
of my ancestors, by the name of Zalmoxis, started his epiphania (the road to
knowledge). And he spent 3 years hidden inside a cave, after which he came
down and started his lawmaking journey by burning down the vineyards. Heck,
those days were rough and people needed to spice up their lives. Only they
were abusing it and it seems this was a major brake in the progress.
In this light, I also concur with the "no compromise" point of view. As
stressed in most of the previous mail, the mentality is THE BIG factor. And
it can be changed, I saw it with my own eyes. Small things, like
periodically moving the workbenches, make the employees more open to this
change. But what about the upper management's mentality? Well, I can't wait
to get the answer from your book.
