Help Please,

One of our customers assembles boards at 220 deg. C max (428 deg. F)
and reworks with irons at 320 + or -20 deg. C (608 + or - 20 deg. F)
this may be varied according the experience of the operator or the type
of component being reworked. Irons at 350 + or - 20 deg. C (666 + or -
36 deg. F) ar5e also used.

Now we have manufactered 62 mil thick 12 layer boards with buried blind
vias layers 2 to 3 and 11 to 10 buried vias 2 to 11 and 4 mil laser
blind vias, some in smt pads. The board is FR4 with resin coated copper
(RCC)outers.

Are the rework temperatures compatible with this type of board? Would
you recommend higher or lower rework temperatures?

Roger Hammond.
