Hi Dave,

These are the justifications I can think of:

1) A longer oven (with more heating zones) gives more flexibility in setting up a profile. 
2) You can increase the belt-speed (and thus throughput), while still having the necessary heating-time and heattransfer. 
3) It looks more impressive (for some, this is really important !).

What advantages does a larger reflow oven have over a smaller one other than
size? We have a small unit that will fit a 10" wide board. We would like a
unit that would fit a 13" wide board. Is there any other justifications to a
larger oven? We do not use lead free.
