Gary,
how are you. We worked together, very briefly, at Praegitzer. I ran
the Austin office. Just saw your name, and thought I would say howdy. Hope
things are good with you.

Subject: Re: [DC] hole size rules for pressfit

Dee,

For the so-called Augat "Holtite", either .041 +/-.002 or 058 +/-.002,
per:

http://www.aboveboardelectronics.com/thomasandbetts/pdf/au_sockets/sip_H
oltite.pdf

However, be sure to consult the assembler for verification of this hole
size. In my experience, more than one assembler chose to permutate the
parameters for optimal use of the so-called "shake fixture" onto which
your board will be laid, and into which said "Holtites" may be gang
shaken. I was told to use .041 +000/-.002 by one of these folks. Good
luck!

Gary
