Hi Ken,
IPC has an excellent position paper that discusses the transition from MIL
spec to IPC spec:
"IPC Position Paper: Transitioning from MIL-P-50884C and MIL-PRF-31032 to
IPC-6013
and Amendment 1". It is available from the IPC homepage (bottom left
corner) or
directly http://www.ipc.org/html/MilSGuideline.pdf
If your project involves a "new" design look for QPL-31032 (MIL-PRF-31032)
The cutoff date for new design under MIL-PRF-55110 (rigid boards) is 31
December 1998.
The cutoff date for new design under MIL-PRF-50884 (flexible & rigid-flex
boards) is 28 February 1999.

Subject: [TN] Military PCB
I'm working on a project and was wondering if anyone
knows where I can get a list of all the Mil Spec
certified PCB manufacturers in the U.S.? Is there a
website or even somewhere within IPC that can help me
out? Thanks in advance.
