Bad hand or no, we did/do some really neat mil/flight DFM stuff. It
almost
is gratifying to know little has changed regarding the
restraining/constraining/tailoring core technology over the past
twenty
years. The big difference now seems only to be the evolution from
CIC to CMC
while realizing they are nearly the same.

Brings back memories concerning the 10 mil copper sheets sandwiched
around
about 40 mils of Invar. Also the 10" maximum panel size comes back
to mind.
Would like to know more about improved processing techniques and how
tailoring core, close to MLB surfaces, compares with constraining
core
useage. Also, what became of Kevlar and/or Carbon fiber technology?

What's really great is to see so many old and new time experts
coming out of
the woodwork. What could this be a sign of? Hope Jame's original
question
didn't get lost. Seems like not.
