All,

We use a solder dross recovery system which has recently resulted in some
debate for which I would like your comments / opinion.

What percentage of solder entering a wave soldering machine comes out as
dross?

I realise this will be dependant on machine type, how it is run, temperature
etc. etc. but on a well maintained machine running product for 8hrs a day
what would people's experience tell them could be expected.

I look forward to your replies.

I have heard everything from 20% to 70% so far!!!!!

Thanks,

Neil
