MIL-PRF-31032 is what the military currently uses in lieu of MIL-PRF-55110.
The major issue with the 31032 spec is that it has a QML whereas 55110 has a
QPL. Most of the QPL PWB manufacturers are not on the QML. This creates
problem unless your customers will authorize compliance to 31032, except for
the QML listing.

Hello All,
We are attempting to wade through all the information and determine how to
approach building for the military market. We have heard various
statements(i.e; Mil-55110 has been replaced by Mil-PERF_31032, you must
build to IPC-6012 type 3, class 3, etc). Does anyone have a definitive path
to approvals to pursue this market ?
Sincerely,
M. David Klein Sr.
