Hi, Chris,
I haven't heard of such a spec, though I have come across either a general
rule of thumb or customer requirements. The general rule of thumb we adopt
is 1 wire per square inch, averaged over the whole board area, but I have
also had customers that limit the number of mod wires to 6 on a
eurocard-sized board. Repair wires were included in this figure, but could
be increased in number, if approved by a Material Review Board.
Hope this is some help.

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if there is any specification pertaining to the maximum
number of wires that can be added for rework on a PCB? Any information
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Christopher Lampron
